Investors in People has awarded Birmingham IT company, Superfast IT, with We invest in people, silver accreditation. The accreditation means that the principles, practises and leadership supporting their team are consistent, to ensure everyone in the organisation benefits from working in a great business.
Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We would like to congratulate Superfast IT for achieving the Silver accreditation on We invest in people. Silver is a fantastic achievement and something only 20% of the organisations we assess achieve.
"It is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places Superfast IT in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
Commenting on the award, James Cash, Founder and Managing Director at Superfast IT, said: “I believe that the success of any organisation begins and ends with people. If we make our business a great place to work and do business, we make work better for all our team at Superfast IT. The Investors in People key indicators of performance are very much aligned with our own business values.
“Leading our team by engaging and empowering our people, while encouraging everyone to take ownership of their development is critical. Everyone has the opportunity to actively develop too. Every team member is allocated 20 days every year to personal development, allowing our people to realise their potential.
“We want to create a culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement to drive sustainable success. We consider the Investors in People accreditation as an independent measure confirming the success of our guiding principles. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Sue Lynch for her efforts and hard work in helping the business achieve the award and for the team members that participated as part of the assessment."
