Superfast IT has been recognised for supporting the armed forces at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Business Awards.
James Cash, Managing Director, collected the "Outstanding Support for the Armed Forces" award on behalf of the company at the awards ceremony held at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Friday, 14th October 2022.
After collecting the award, James said, "We're delighted to be recognised for the work we've put in to support our armed forces. We're committed to doing all we can, and we'll continue to work with the West Midlands Reserve Forces and Cadets Association to further our aims."
Earlier this year, Superfast IT was presented with the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award following the implementation of a scheme to support employees who serve with the armed forces reserves. Under the scheme, Superfast IT provides ten days of additional paid leave for reserve forces personnel to attend annual training. The benefit is also available to adult cadet force instructors.
In September, several Superfast IT team members completed the Wolf Run, raising more than £1,100 for the armed forces charity, Walking With The Wounded.
